with bypasses around Flint Hill, Spenyville, and Woodyille. Our united force was due to the passion of our community to preserve Rappahannock, in essence, keep it “the most beautiful place in the world.”
In our neighboring counties the pressure for development has been so strong as to be nearly unstoppable. Developers from outside Rappahannock have routinely been sitting in on our public hearing, looking for development opportunities here as well. After learning of the unanimous votes from the Planning Commission and Board of Super\isors, I am sure they were encouraged.
