A trip has been planned by the Rappahannock Extension Homemakers to Williamsburg Pottery Factory on Saturday, April 23. The cost of the trip is $10 which includes bus fare and insurance.
Wakefield Country Day School’s upper level students will leave for a three day visit to New York City on March 24. Accompanied by three teachers, the seventh and eighth graders will leave Thursday and return Saturday.
Plans have been made for the group to attend the Broadway musical Shenandoah, to hear a concert given by the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center and to have a French meal at Le Restaurant Cheval Blanc.
Rappahannock County has 49 subdivisions with a total of 1,078 lots already platted, according to a report submitted to the Planners by Eva Dahlgren at last Wednesday’s meeting. Commission members had recently expressed concern over the lack of information on the county’s growth.
