Annie Winterbauer

Annie Laura Winterbauer, 94, of Front Royal died at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Madison on Monday, March 11.
She was born July 14, 1907 in Sperryville, a daughter of the late Laura Woodard and William Brown. She was the wife of the late Jerome A. Winterbauer.
Mrs. Winterbauer was retired from the United States Government Defense Department. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Front Royal and a member of the National Chapter of AARP.
She is survived by one stepson, Jerry Winterbauer and his wife, Carolyn of Palm City, Fla. and three nephews, Tommy Brown and his wife, Joyce, Johnnie Brown and Allen Brown, all of Sperryville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a stepdaughter, Shirley Clifton; five sisters; two brothers and one nephew, Frankie Brown.
Graveside services were conducted on Thursday, March 14 at Panorama Memorial Gardens with Pastor Merlin Shorb officiating.
Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
