Vacation Bible School plans have been made at area churches, watch this column for the dates next week.
On April 3 the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will unveil it’s new addition, a Freightliner Pierce tanker truck will be here. The truck cost the Fire Department $245,000 and is a state of the art piece of equipment.
The department has also set the dates for the annual carnival, June 26-29. Tickets for the fire queen entrants and her court will be available for pick up on April 1. Contact Sandy Carter for information at 937-4218.
