Watering tricks
Hour-long sprinkler soaks, once a week, are better for plants than daily 10minute spritzing. Watering in short increments can keep plants from growing deep roots, thus making them more susceptible to the elements.
A good watering only once a week forces the plant to go digging deep into the earth for water. Taproots will be established that can seek out moisture.
