Jack Grimes
Plumber
Jack Franklin Grimes, 67, of Warrenton died on March 13 at his residence.
He was born March 4, 1935 in Fauquier County, a son of the late Harry Grimes Sr. and Cora Lee Cornell Grimes.
Mr. Grimes was a plumber with the L.J. Foley Plumbing and Heating Company in Warrenton for 25 years when he went to work for the Maintenance Department of the Warrenton Training Center. He retired from the Training Center after working there for 15 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 through 1960.
Mr. Grimes was a member of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church at Huntly.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Grimes; two brothers, Harry Grimes Jr. of Warrenton and James Grimes of Marshall and five sisters, Nora McIntyre of Middleburg, Ruth Jeffries of Marshall, Catherine Rhoton of Warrenton, Marie Whorton of Flint Hill and Mary Smith of Front Royal.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by three brothers, Walter Grimes, Richard Grimes and Randolph Grimes.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, March 17 at Moser Funeral Home in
