THE FLAG
Among the benefits available to veterans is a US. flag that is provided to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran who has served honorably in the United States Armed Forces. After the flag is cordetelv folded and tucked in. its triangular shape takes the appearance of a chocked hat. This should serv e as a reminder of the soldiers who served under General George Washington, as well as the sailors and marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones. They, followed by their comrades and shipmates in the armed forces of the United States, have preserved for us the rights, privileges, and freedom that we continue to enjoy today.
