On Saturday the Washington Boy Scout Troop 64 earned their hiking merit badge by hiking 20 miles from mile post 12 to mile post S2 on the Skyline Drive. J! According to a statement made Tuesday by ! Mrs. Wallace Critzer, she will not be a can' didate for re-election to the office of Mayor of the Town of Washington at the forthcoming i election to be held June 12, 1962. ! She stated that if votes were cast for her j she would not accept the position. Mrs. Critzer has been Mayor of the town since . 1958, serving two terms of two years each.
Postmasters of the Seventh Virginia District held their annual business meeting at | Belle Meade Motel in Harrisonburg Tuesday, | March 20.
