board Budget for 20022003, and to answer parents’ questions on this often confusing process.
• Has your child at RCES been caught practicing random acts of kindness? We are sure the answer is “yes”, but now until the end of school they may be rewarded for it. The RCES PTO is sponsoring the “Caught Doing Something Good” Award. Students are encouraged to nominate other students who have done something kind, responsible, or thoughtful for someone else or their school. Each Friday a child’s name will be drawn, and that child, along with the one who nominated them will be recognized with a special award.
Encourage your children to do good things, and to watch for others doing the same. This is a wonderful way for us all to say thank you to those around us who make our school and community better.
