For the past six years Ki Theatre has been offering workshops that help people write their life stories. The workshops are taught by Julie Portman, an Obie award winning writer and performer whose most recent play, Three Roses, was broadcast on Public Television this fall.
Julie, who lives in Rappahannock County, believes that everyone has a unique story to tell and the need for that story to be heard. People in all walks of life take Julie’s Lift Stories Workshops -therapists, teachers, artists, retirees, government employees; people who write a lot and people who have never written before.
