By Cecelia Dennis Special to the Rappahannock News

On Tuesday, March 5 the middle and high school band had guest artist, Mr. John Easley come to RCHS. Mr. Easley is a 35 year veteran of Stafford County Band Program.

He has also served as an adjudicator at both district and Festival contests. His input was greatly appreciated and will help the band to “fine tune” their selections for their upcoming Festival Competition in April.

Fruit update

Fresh and delicious fruit from Florida arrived for pick up at the Rappahannock Co-op on March 14-16. The band will be selling the extra oranges, tangerines and grapefruit as well. Anyone wishing to purchase a case (or more!) may contact any band member or call Sally Havstad at 987-9342.

Again, all band members would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone purchasing fruit for their continued support of Rappahannock Pubic Schools Band Program!
