May 5: Spring Bird Walk
The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s Biodiversity Task Force wiN hold its spring bird walk at Jordan River Farm on Saturday May 5th at 9am, led by Shenandoah National Park Ecologist and Data Manager Dr. Alan Williams. Bird migration should be at its peak and Jordan River Farm offers a great mix of fields, forests, and ponds to see birds from hawks to hummingbirds. AH adults and older children are welcome, from novices and experienced birders, but participants must be registered in advance since the wak is limited to twentyfive participants.
