VA to the late James Morton Duncan and Mary Virginia Cornwall Duncan. Mrs. Smith was Commissioner of the Revenue of Rappahannock County. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her children. Virginia Lee Smith Dillard of Washington, VA, and MoUie Smith Snead and her husband, Rayner of Lynchburg. VA. eight grandchildren, Virginia Doran Snead, Virginia Anne Dillard, Heather Lee Dillard. Rayner V Snead, III, David Duncan Dillard, Scott Randolph Dillard, D. Benson Dillard. Christopher Y. Dillard, and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Harry Lee Smith, one grandchild. Lewis Duncan S-tml. one sister, and four brothers. % ' A funeral service was held on April 23. 2007 at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Jennings Hobson officiating. Interment followed in Culpeper National Cemetery a noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Rappahannock County Library, 4 Library Rd.
