May 12: Build a rain barrel

Culpeper Soil & Water Conservation District & Virginia Cooperative Extension will hold a “Build Vbur Own Rain BarreT Workshop on Saturday May 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Young Farmers Pavilion in Madison County. The cost will be $30 for 1 barrel or $50 for 2 barrels, including all necessary hardware. Participants will also receive a box lunch. May 12: The Third Annual

Rappahannock Evening View

Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance (RCCA) is hosting the Third Annual Rappahannock Evening View. This event recognizes Rappahannock’s recent conservation easement donors and benefits the Rappahannock County Farmland Preservation Program. This year the event will be held at Montpelier, the home of Roger and Sophie Scruton, and will begin at 6:00 p.m. Silent auction items win be available. Open seating is $125/per person though sponsorship tables for a party of ten are available for $3,500, $2,500 or $1,500. Join us for a tovety evening and support land conservation in Rappahannock. May 14: Calling Ail Young Actors

The RRC is looking for actors ages 4 to 9 to play Fairies and Forest Folk in the June production of Witches, Heroes, Lovers and Elves: A Shakespearean Panorama. Class and theatre games will begin on Monday, May 14 at 4 p.m. at the Rappa(harmock County Library. Parents, please plan on staying with your child during classes.
