Why won’t the school board address these citizens’ concerns instead of passing the buck to the Board of Supervisors?
Why has the school board adopted the policy of not answering questions at the public meetings saying people can get their answer later from a school board member out in the community when they almost always refer thei: questions to Dr. Chappell? (Causing delays of weeks at a time to get answers.)
Lately the issue has been raised of repealing land use tax to help fund the school budget and we always hear about the composite index being unfair because it places more of the burden of the total school budget on local tax dollars. While this is true the budget is made up of tax dollars and if there is waste i should be cut out!
What hurts me the most as a taxpayer is that for whatever their reasons the two boards won’t address
