Phones For Life, the 501(c)3 non-profit, which provides free “9-1-1” emergency cell phones and free cell phones with minutes to domestic violence victims, senior citizens and persons with disabilities across the US, is going to award a scholarship to one or more high school seniors to attend the University of Virginia Tech in the names of the victims of the tragedy of April 16,2007.
“I believe in the education of our youth and feel that this is the perfect way to memorialize those killed at Virginia Tech”, said Dr. Dee L’Archeveque MD, Medical Director of San Bernardino Community Hospital and founder of Phones For Life.
