Simple answer. No. Nobiz like Shobiz showed a special ability in the Wood Memorial that many other horses lack, the ability to look a horse in the eye and put it away, to out-finish the other runner. As the ancient maxim of horse racing, still heard around the grand old tracks of America and Britain, goes, “If this horse doth run his race, the others are running for second place.”
So that leaves your exotic bets and across-the-board money. Who will get up for a piece? What’s the superfecta (top four horses in order) going to be? Well, if I knew, Td have already bet it But, as of this writing, nearly two weeks out from the Derby, my hypothetical superfecta:

Likely favorite Nobiz like Shobiz will win the Kentucky Derby. Mark my word. Expect me to be waving my finger like Joe Namath after Super Bowl III barely two minutes after 6 p.m. on May 5.1 might even share my quail legs if you’re lucky.
