Association's record books in 2006 when she became only the second woman ever to claim the champion jockey title. She notched 21 wins in 89 starts and also placed a close second in the standings for money won. Matt McCarron, champion jockey in 2003 and 2004, ran second to Hodsdon in races won and third in money won. The fact that the pair of professionals are longtime boyfriend and girlfriend simply adds to the thrill of victory.
