Amateur jockey Diana Gillam, right, is following in the footsteps of her father Jeremy Gillam. Jeremy was one of the nation’s top amateur jockeys in the 1970s and ’80s. Diana’s career took off since she began riding races just a few years ago. She hooked up with champion timber trainer Jack Fisher this season, and may get the ‘big timber’ rides on 2004 champion Bubble Economy. Like her father, Diana rides as an amateur. She also pursues a career selling real estate in addition to„ race riding.
