As a family physician for 40 years, I have first hand knowledge of the anxieties encountered by the elderly when it comes to prescription drug costs. The BushRepublican plan is very vague. The Gore-Democrat plan rests on the solid foundation of Social Security and Medicare. I know it sounds partisan but, for true family values and the best overall interests of the elderly, the Democratic ticket of GoreLieberman and Senator Robb is the way to vote in November.
