When he s through racing, he'll let us know, and he'll have a permanent home at Dot's," Moffett said.

But, sadly, Double Found won't join Moffett's foxhunting string at the farm. Moffett tried to hunt him and called him "too competitive."

"Everything I hunt is off ^ the track," said the horsemen, who hunts and whips-in regularly with Loudoun West and the farmers' pack Snickersville Hounds. "I have two in my barn that could race right now, Chateau Leroy and Echo Bush."

His current favorite mount for the hunt field is the handsome 17.2-hand chestnut, Echo Bush, winner over hurdles and, in 2000, timber on , the Virginia point-to-point circuit.

"He's a very good jumper, all the event riders love him," he said. "And he's a really kind horse — he never does anything wrong. I've turned down $30,000 for him."

even though Echo Bush is only 8, Moffett doesn't think he'll race him anymore.

"He’ll have a long career as my hunt horse," he said.
