by a professional band, Cartoon, in 1983. She is thrilled to be collaborating on original compositions and is happy to be performing as a member of Breathing Room.
Sally Twentey blames her music addiction on her own personal "Partridge family". She has played with a variety of groups from brass quintets to rock bands including the band InSight Out that recently played the Virginia Women's Music Festival.
Her songwriting has been recognized in both the Alternative and Gospel categories in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest. Twentey holds a degree in Instrumental Music and enjoys playing acoustic guitar, cello, trombone, and bass in Breathing Room.
Breathing Room’s percussionist, Lynn Hunt, came into this life "beating on drums". It's a family tradition, her father was a drummer and she can't remember a time when making music wasn’t a part of her life. Bongo's, djembe', trap set, shakers and triangle, you should see her living room. While growing up overseas, Hunt played with The Venus Fly Trap and more recently was the percussionist for the women's band InSight Out.
Anne Evans has been involved in music her entire life which included training at Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Michigan. A native Detroiter, she performed in the II V I Big Band and the Urbations, a well
