Report
The Rappahannock County Building office reports for the period running July 22 through Aug. 21 the following permits were issued:
For the month, the office issued six new home permits, three addition/remodel/renovation, three pool permits.
Miscellaneous permits included: two deck permits, one vinyl siding permit, one permit to install a new roof, one permit to demo a building and seven renewal permits.
The Building Office also reviewed 14 sets of plans, had 187 scheduled inspections, eight walk-in consultations and nine scheduled consultations.
The year to date totals are: 41 new home constructions and one commercial building compared to 42 new home constructions and one commercial building for the year 1999.
