Both the RCHS girls’ basketball and the varsity cross country teams saw action this past week. The Lady Bulldogs from Luray came to town on a hot, muggy night last Monday for an evening of basketball. The junior varsity game started slow with both teams scoring only two points in the first quarter.
The Panthers played a good game and worked hard, but came out on the losing end of a 39-17 score. Molly Burke led the JV team from Rappahannock with six points and Rachel Gall added four on her birthday.
