• Mayor Willis provided copies of a bill from PEMCO Lighting Products for the rewiring of one of the street light assemblies so that it could accommodate a 100 watt bulb. The Mayor had expected that PEMCO would perform this service at no cost in an effort to end the problems that have plagued the street lights since they were installed. On the advice of Mr. Bennett, the Town will not pay this bill ($267.91), but will instead attempt to negotiate a settlement with the company since the lights have never functioned properly. The rewiring of all of the street lights would cost approximately $15,000, based upon the PEMCO bill received.
