staff members for projects which will benefit the greatest number of children. Twice each year staff members are invited to submit requests to the Mini-Grant Committee for times or activities which will enhance their programs.
The committee reviews them and awards grants (up to $1,000) for the enrichment projects deemed most worthy. Volunteer Peter Kreyling chairs this committee composed of private citizens and staff members. We are extremely grateful to Headwaters, and it supporters, for this wonderful opportunity.
• RCHS student Elaine Smith was injured recently in an accident involving her horse, and had to be transported to the hospital. We are all very grateful that she has recovered and that her injuries were not more serious. Elaine's parents, Mrs. Corinne Smith, RCES Special Ed teacher, and Mr. Richard Smith, RCMS Co-Principal, have recovered as well.
