As lonjr as eating holds a fairly hiyh spot on humanity's priority list it follows quite reasonably that the production of the stuff that helps to keep us yoiny is a pretty important 'occupation, both to carry on and to improve constantly. Vet. to judye by the numbers that did not crowd the (lay Street Theater to the doors last Friday evening for RAAC's second lecture of its series in observance of Rappahannock's lblith anniversary, the topic seems low on the ho-hum totem pole.
The panelists, it is true, were supposed to dwell on the past, which they did very interestingly. Mrs. Massie ably balancing the distaff portion of the picture with the records of Messrs. Butler. Manwariny and Johnson. But no hint appeared as to what is beiny done, or should be done, to counter excessive departures from the county agricultural scene of youny men and women - those, in short.
