“The experience I had a deputy sheriff, the love I have for the county and a wish to make Rappahannock County my home. My dedication to law enforcement drew me to the election. I see a strong need for leadership and management in the sheriffs department— leadership and management that I can give.”
2. ) What are your qualifications for the office ?
“I’m a former Rappahannock County deputy sheriff, hired by John Walker Jenkins in 1975. Then I was hired by Bill Butin after his first election, I left the sheriffs department for a position with the Virginia State Police in April, 1978. I was a trooper with general responsibilites for highway patrol.
