School Reunion Planned
The Rappahannock County High School class of 1978 will have their five year reunion on October 2, 1982, from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Lakeside Swim Club in Cul|Mper.

Dyeing Workshop
Castleton fiber artist Kim Jacobson will give a vegetable dyeing workshop on Saturday, October 1.
She will show how to use exotic and local plant materials such as pokeberries, onionskins and fustic to dye wool, silk and cotton yarns. The workshop will also cover the history and secrets of dyeing as each student compiles a booklet of dyed yarn samples.
Jacobson has been using vegetable dyes on her yarns for eight years. She weaves dyed yarns into her own work and also sells to knitters, crocheters and other weavers.

Refunders Club To Meet
Rappahannock Refunders Club will meet on Tuesday, October 3, at 10 a.m. at Creations Christian Bookstore in Washington.
All thrifty shoppers who use manufacturers coupons at the grocery store and/or take advantage of refund offers are invited to attend this coupon and forms swap meeting. “Those unable to attend the meeting may come by any day to swap coupons at the store,” said Becky Burke, manager of Creations.
