Superintendent Robert S. Kstabrook announced today that the week of October 1 -<s is School Bus Safety Week in Virginia. ‘‘Governor Robb has signed a Certificate of Recognition and asked the citizens of the state to exercise constant courtesy and caution when near school buses," said Kstabrook.
"In Virginia, we have over St,000 school buses. They transport more than 750.000 students to and from school each school day and travel nearly SI million miles a year." added Kstabrook.
