Rappahannock’s Pant iers scored their first goals of the 1983 soccer season this week but still failed to post a game in the win column as they were downed bv George Mason, 9-2, at home Friday and by Randolph Macon, 4-1, at Front Royal on Monday.

On a sunny, breezy afternoon just made for outdoor sports, the RCHS boys faced district rivals George Mason. Coach Glenn Davis tried a new strategy after last week’s 13-0 loss to Eastern Mennonite by switching one of his halfbacks to the fullback position, bringing the number there to four.
