Jimmy Freeman made the defensive play of the afternoon on the home team’s next scoring drive. Dennis came out of the box to challenge a Yellow Jacket dribbling for the goal. He kicked, missed and the Jacket passed off to a teammate even closer to the net. Freeman dashed into the undefended goal to send the ball sailing back out almost to midfield. Jim “Buckwheat” Racer also earned defensive plaudits as he repeatedly stole the ball and intercepted passes to disrupt RMA’s offensive attack.
