A reception following the wedding was held on the lawn at Rose Dale, home of the bride. Music was provided by the Bratche String Quartet of Garret Park, Maryland. Following a honeymoon in the Bahama Islands, the couple will make their home in Bel Air, Maryland.

The bride is a graduate of Sweet Briar College and is employed by the Department of the Army at Abeerdeen Proving Grounds, Md. The groom is employed by the Bethleham Steel at Sparrows Point, Md.

A cocktail party following the rehearsal dinner was given in honor of the couple by Dr. and Mrs. John Turner of Warrenton and Mrs. Sally Lea of Culpeper. Invited were the bridal party and out of town guests.

A shower for the bride was given July 30th at the home of Mrs. Douglas Farquarson in Rixeyville by Mrs. Farquarson and Mrs, James Dyer.
