Revival services will be held at Forest Grove Baptist Church near Viewtown beginning October 9. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. followed by the regular worship service at 11.
On Sunday evening the visiting minister, Dr. Bernard LeSueur, former Superintendent of the Virginia Baptist Home and pastor of a number of Baptist Churches in Virginia will preach at the 7:30 service. The revival will continue through Thursday night. Mrs. Gary F. Bailey, the organist is planning the music for each evening.
The Rev. A.C. Walker is pastor of Forest Grove and extends an invitation to the public.
Macedonia Talent Program
A talent program will be presented at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill on Saturday, October 1 at 6 p.m.
The program will be sponsored by the senior choir. The Rev. James A. Price is pastor of Macedonia and Mrs. Roberta Alsberry is president.
