It's 7 a.m. and the sun has lifted over the slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains, peeking down on Mt. Airy, an 18th century home nestled in the Shenandoah Valley in Clarke County. A dark-eyed young man is working in the garden collecting herbs and fresh vegetables.
