The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote In order to be eligible to vote in the elections to be held on Tuesday, November 8, 1983, you must register no later than 5:00 p m on Saturday. October 8, 1983 The Voter Registration Office of Rappahannock County located at the address shown below will be open for registration on Saturday. October 8, 1983 from 9:00 a m to 5:00 p m. for the purpose of registering qualified persons The office will also be open on Saturday, October 29. 1983 and Saturday, November 5, 1983 from 9 00 a m to 5:00 p m at the address shown below mainly for the purpose of accepting applications for absentee ballots for this election. November 5, 1983 is the last day on which absentee ballots may be cast in person by qualified applicants
