Just over the mountain from the entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive is Brookside Restaurant. The owners are Greek and prepare specialities from their native land in addition to the Southern country fare. Evenings, they serve an all-you-can-eat special: Wednesdays pan fried chicken, Thursdays spaghetti, Fridays fried pork chops and fried flounder, and Saturday rib eye steaks and pork chops. The table is set for a breakfast buffet every Sunday from 7:30 to 11 a.m.
