Ties Two
Wakefield’s Owls tied Randolph Macon Academy of Front Royal, 2-2, in the Huntly school’s soccer opener on September 1(1.
Playing at home on September 21, the Owls were downed by St. James, 4-1. On Friday, the Wakefield boys bounced back to even the score with Blue Ridge, 3-3, in arraway contest.
The Junior Varsity Owls tied St. James 3-3, in an awav match on September 21.
In varsity girls field hockey, Notre Dame trounced the Owls, 4C1.
This Wednesday, the varsity soccer team will take on Tandem and on Friday will challenge cross-county rival Rappahannock County High School. Both games are set for 4 p.m. at the 4-H Center in Harmony Hollow, the Owls’ home field until the gymnasium building project is completed.
