“I believe the key issue in this election is that of basic protection of the people and the property of Rappahannock residents. All too often, while the letter of the law may be strictly adhered to, the spirit of the laws of the Commonwealth are ignored, simply because of inconvenience. In order to fully protect the people, the sheriffs department has to do more than the required minimum to justify its existence. A sheriffs department can only provide maximum results for the citizens if it is willing to put forth maximum effort.”
