Photo courtesy Steve Parker SUPER SENIORS’ LUNCHEON was held at the United Methodist Church in Amissville on Saturday, February 8 to honor senior citizens. 21 “super seniors” and 16 young people were brought together for an afternoon of sharing. The Ladies of the Church served a nice lunch which was followed with songs by the Junior and Youth Choirs. A very creative skit by L.J. Davis entitled “A Telephone Call from God” caught everyone’s attention creating laughter, and much inner searching, in an atmosphere of fun. The afternoon ended with a sing-along to special favorites of our “Super Seniors”.
