races, so the first of the day’s eight races is set for 2 p.m. As at several other meets, the owner-rider hurdle race starts the program. Loudoun’s is over a 2l/4-mile course, the longest race of the year in this series.
Following the hurdle race, maiden timber horses take to the track for a three mile race. The novices are followed, on the timber course by the owner-riders, continuing the Seven Corners series.
An open hurdle race is fourth on the card, followed by a maiden hurdle race. Both races are at 1 Vi miles.
