Mrs. Warren keeps Lease On Life and all of Mr. Archbold’s jumpers at Bergen, where they are trained by farm manager Evan Sinclair. The farm has a grass track around the hills beside the barn where the racers can be exercised. Mrs. Warren also specializes in breaking yearlings for horse owners from New York to California. Each year she and Mr. Sinclair get about 12 yearlings ready for the race track from the small farm in northern
Fauquier.
