Andre Simonpietri
Andre Christopher Simonpietri, 74, of Rixeyville, died Wednesday, February 12, 1986, in Florida.
Mr. Simonpietri was a native of Richmond, and had lived in Rixeyville for years. He was a retired Diplomat in the Foreign Service.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Boland Simonpietri of Rixeyville; five sons, Andre C. Simonpietri, Jr., of Sandy Hook, Conn., David A. Simonpietri of Cooper City, Fla., Pierre A. Simonpietri of St. Louis, Mo., Raymond B. Simonpietri of St. Louis, Mo., P. Philippe Simonpietri of Vemonhill, 111.; one daughter, Grace Alma Brix of St. Louis, Mo.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Magdalene S. Mooney of Boston and Rose Marie Beckstoffer of Richmond; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Precious Blood Catholic Church, Saturday, February 15 with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Culpeper County Rescue Squad.
