Imagine for the purpose of illustration these two extremes. First, a mobile home paying only minimal taxes and for a county sticker, versus a'farmer taxed on his livelihood, his land, his cattle, his bam, his mule, his tractor, his disc and harrow, his house and lot, county sticker and johnny house to boot. The practice of taxing farmers and merchants on their livelihood has probably come from the days when these other taxes would have been more fair. But now as more and more residents are not farmers and merchants, these taxes become more and more discriminatory.
