Republican Rally planned
An old-fashioned Republican Rally and dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 3 p.m. at Washington Volunteer Fire Department. For people who don’t want dinner, the rally program will begin around 3:45 p.m. All events other than the dinner are free. For information call Walter Longyear at 675-3679.
Karate classes to begin
Shorin-Ryu Okinawan Karate classes will begin on Sept. 22. Classes will be held on Wednesday at Ki Theatre. Fall sculpture class set
A fall sculpture class, figure sculpture in clay, will be held for nine weeks beginning Sept. 28 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $225 and includes model and materials fees and will be taught by Charles Flickinger at the Oldway Art Center near Sperryville. Artist's work on display
Ms. Eunice Wenger will have her work on display at Middle Street Galley in Washington during the month of September. The show will run through Sept. 26. Middle Street Gallery is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
