Glenwood Park on the Foxcroft Road north of Middleburg is widely considered one of America’s best steeplechase tracks for its wide-open layout, gently rolling terrain, irrigated footing and lilac-encircled paddock. Permanent stabling adds charm while an oak grove covers the hillside box seating.

The 45th annual Virginia Fall races stretch over two days: Saturday’s program is sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association, Sunday’s by the Virginia Steeplechase Association.
