Age: 60 Residence: Amissville Married, two children A) I have solid ideas on how to solve our tax problems. The money for needed taxes are already here. We need to create jobs and services so our spending will be in Rappahannock and not in other counties. This too would help the farmer as well by providing a broader tax base. Sure, the farmers have land use tax, but they must make a profit as well. B) Since the county takes money by demand from each landowner, these moneys should not be given to a volunteer service. I think our local volunteers forget who really supports the services, whereas the county should have complete control, meaning hiring or firing.
