Appearing along the way are some of the greatest names in thoroughbred history — Hoist the Flag is a son of Tom Rolfe, winner of the 1965 Preakness Stakes. Continuing on in the pedigree are Ribot, Nearco and War Admiral, son of the immortal Man OWar and winner of the 1937 Triple Crown. Also included are Princequillo, Hyperion, Gainesborough and Spendthrift, grandson of Lexington and great-grandson of Boston.
