The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will be holding their first Fireman’s Apple Festival on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the carnival grounds.
There will be fun for the entire family including an apple bobbing contest, a quilt contest, an apple pie contest, a pumpkin pie contest,, crafts and lots of good food.
The Sperryville Auxiliary is seeking contestants to enter their handmade quilts and homemade apple and pumpkin pies. To enter your quilts or homemade pies call Charlotte Jenkins at 987-8683 before 7 p.m. Please no calls after 7 p.m.
