Second on the all-time leading ’chasers list, Victorian Hill, at left, shows just a tiny, offset star on his handsome head. 1970 and '12 Virginia Gold Cup winner King of Spades, above, had a narrow star, stripe and snip that set off his dark bay face. At right, 1972 champion Soothsayer, also a very dark bay, had a star separated from a widening stripe and crooked snip.
